Creating a New Texture Ink

5. Click the Texture tab. If you haven't done so previously, click the triangle on the left side of the palette (below left). The palette will expand to reveal the Texture manager (below right).

6. Obtain a bitmap texture image (you can use the background of this web page; paper.gif). Click File > Place and navigate to the file. After you select the image you will see the place pointer curscnv5.gif . Click the mouse to place the image on the sheet. To create the new texture ink, drag and drop the image into the preview box of the Texture manager.

7.  To save the new texture in the Inks palette, drag and drop the ink from the preview box into the grid with the other tiles.

8. You can load, append, save and clear inks using the popup menu accessed with the triangle on the right side of the palette (below - circled).
